I have seen Eric twice now, and the first time was much better. His performance the second time around wasn't bad, he just didn't sing his hits. He did songs that were on his first album that he had never released. He didn't sing Two Pink Lines, How Bout You, or His Kind of Money. He also didn't do Lightning, which he never released, but I have heard he typically ends with it. On his website it was posted that he was supposed to sign for an hour immediately after his set, but it didn't say where, so we asked probably 25-30 people where it would be. Finally, his road manager told where he would be signing. So, in order to make sure I met him, my mom missed more than half of his performance and I missed about half. Me, my mom and my friend all stood in line for nearly an hour and he never showed up. We talked to the people at the tent where he was supposed to sign and they said no, he was not signing. So, I was not very happy. We checked his website that night, after we got home, and yes, the schedule had changed and that was why he didn't sign. He could've have announced that he wasn't going to sign, so we didn't miss his performance, since it was posted on his website that he would be signing. So, in the end, his overall performance wasn't very good and he is not very dedicated to his fans, or else he would've have either signed or made an announcement to the audience that he wouldn't be signing. It is going to take a lot to get me to go see him again.

Once again Eric Church put on an amazing live show. One of the best live country acts to see right now. He never fails to impress me each time out. If you have a chance to go see EC buy tickets and buy early, cause it will sell out.

Eric Church and his band put on what I consider to be the best live show in country music (and I've seen nearly every artist perform - from Garth Brooks to Shania Twain). There is so much energy generated between EC and his audience. He plays a set that lasts around two hours and it's filled with almost his entire music catalog to date. Rolling Stone named his debut album as the best in country music. Eric is a true country musician with a flair of southern rock thrown in for good measure. There is nothing pop/Top 40 about his music that seemingly way too many country music artists are trying to emulate. If you aren't very familiar with Eric Church before attending one of his shows, you will by the time you leave!
