They were great. Awesome show. The openers were horrible though. I wish I would of seen The Killers at the Roseland Theater back in 06. but this was still a solid show.

They were incredible. They came out with high energy (it was their first date) and played a lot of new stuff and then started to mix in the old. My girlfriend and I got there 8 hours early (for general admission) and we were front left 2nd row!! They sounded smooth and Brandon got into the soldout crowd. Their encore was great, they ended the concert with "When we were young" and it was over way to early (my only complaint is they only played for a hour and a half (which is customary for most bands now). I agree with timmytoo if you go to see them get there early to see M83, they are different but very good. I'm going ot Europe to see them three times can't wait. I hope they come out with more stops for their second North American Leg.

The concert at Eastern Michigan Univeristy before a sold out crowd was the best of the three times I have seen The Killers live. Brandon looked great clean shaven, and despite claiming to have a bit of a cold, his voice sounded great. The first part of the show was mostly from the new "Day & Age" CD, with a generous mix of older stuff as the night wore on. The general admission standing crowd on the main floor loved every minute of it. The playing was as tight as ever, with back-up sax and percussion players adding additional support. Brandon said to the crowd early on that every time they come through the area ( SE MI/ Detroit) the crowds that show up are bigger. Here' s hoping they come back around soon - so they can play DTE or the Palace - as they could sell those places out too! Also, the 4 piece trance / techno group M83 opened - kudos to them for playing their intense 40 minute set to a small but perplexed group of folks. They mostly played stuff from their new "Saturday = Youth" CD. If you are seeing The Killers on this tour - go early to see M83 perform. Great night of music that brightened up the cold Michigan winter!
