This was my first time going to see metallica and lets say i wish i would have not missed them in saskatoon on the master of puppets tour so many years ago. Don't get me wrong the show was worth the trip as they were spot on and the light show was amazing. The thing that bothers me is while i like there new album and it is rather a redeaming one for them, after all the crap they have put out in the last 15+ years they saturate there set list with 4 songs from the black album, only 1 from justice and 1 from ride the lightning? Very sad that i have to sit thru the unforgiven, sad but true, enter sandman and cough cough nothing else matters while they all but ignored one of there best albums justice by only playing predictably One. its funny as a fan of the band since 1984 you could look around when they did helpless and whiplash and no on around me had a clue what they were playing, so sad the biggest cheer came during enter sandman.

This show was great, but will it be as good as the one in San Rafael on 09/11/2009 that Pollstar does not have on here, they always have the shows though, great site! This is in a 1960 seat venue in James and Lars hometown just over the Golden Gate bridge. It is a benefit show and is sold out but if you were a diehard, where there is a will there is a way. This is on Dave Mustaines Birthday and I remember him being in San Francisco on his birthday twice, once was two years ago when Megadeth played the Warfield. Let us see some Horesmen..........
